Accountant

For one of our clients, a dynamic and growing industrial company located in Walloon Brabant, we are currently looking for an Accountant to join their team

Your Role

As an Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial operations.

You will support day-to-day accounting activities while contributing to financial reporting and process improvements in a dynamic industrial environment.

Working closely with finance, operations, and external partners, you will help maintain a solid financial foundation that supports business performance and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

General Accounting

• Record and reconcile daily financial transactions
• Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate accounting records
• Ensure proper allocation of costs and revenues

Financial Reporting & Closing

• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities
• Prepare financial statements and reports in compliance
• Assist in variance analysis and reporting to management

Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Manage supplier invoices, payment runs, and follow-up
• Monitor customer accounts and support collections when needed
• Ensure timely and accurate billing

Compliance & Audit

• Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards
• Support internal and external audits
• Maintain proper documentation and audit trails

Process Improvement

• Contribute to the optimization of accounting processes and internal controls
• Participate in ERP improvements and digitalization initiatives
• Support finance-related projects across departments

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1-5 years of experience in accounting (industrial environment is a plus)
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience with ERP systems and strong Excel skills
• Professional level of English and french (written and spoken)
